Where Nature Meets Soul: A Writing Walk in the Woods

Your soul has been talking to you.

Through the tree you keep stopping to look at. The bird that landed closer than it should have. The flower you almost walked past — and didn't.

Nature isn't backdrop. It's messenger.

Where Nature Meets Soul is a guided writing experience on the Riverbend Community Park Loop in St. Charles — a trail so peaceful and tucked away, it feels like Nature arranged to have it waiting just for you.

Here's how it works: you'll wander slowly and with intention until something calls to you. A plant. An animal. A tree. A stone. You don't choose it — it chooses you. Then you'll sit with it, observe it, and write. Not about it. With it.

What comes through is never really about the plant.

It's about you — what your soul is carrying, what it's ready to release, what it's been trying to surface for a while now.

At the end of our time together, we'll gather and share — to whatever extent feels comfortable — and let the Tree of Life do what it does best: show us how everything that came through is connected, and what it means for where you are right now. You don't need to know anything about it going in. You just need to be willing to write.

Your Guide: Sarah Woodard

I'm a Kabbalist and Certified Shamanic Practitioner who spent years mapping 40+ spiritual traditions onto the Tree of Life - demonstrating that they're all teaching the same navigation process in different languages.

At Wisdom Grove, I help people move past dogma and gatekeepers to find authentic connection with the Divine. Nature is our first teacher. The Tree is the map. Unity is the foundation.

I also take Nature photos, live with three cats and 70+ named plushies, and believe your spiritual path should fit YOUR life - not someone else's ideal.
