“Oh yes, I totally feel Mother Earth supporting me right now.” I didn’t.
“I know it’ll be okay. G-d loves me and takes care of me.” If noses grew like Pinoccio’s when lying, mine would be the size of a load-bearing beam in a skyscraper.
“I trust my guides to show me the way.” Nope, not even close.
“If I’m positive enough and believe enough, it’ll go exactly as I expect.” This couldn’t have been more wrong.
And through all those lies and all that shame I was carrying - all of the spiritual bypassing both internal and external - I also knew, deeper in my soul, that I had the ability to feel that way - that it was possible, if only I could find the way to do it - to truly connect, truly access that Higher Power and my Higher Self.
A Non-Dogmatic Approach to the Tree of Life
That belief fueled my decades-long search for MY path. I ran into a lot of dead ends, u-turns, and course corrections along the way.
And I never stopped looking.
Slowly, the path started to appear. And it turns out, it was rooted in something I’d been intermittently self-studying since college - but not the way everyone else was teaching it.
What I discovered is that there is a map. At a basic level, this map looks the same for everyone. What’s different is the language, tools, boxes, etc that we humans have used to try to classify everything to death.
That map is the Kabbalah Tree of Life.
What no one else will tell you - because the Divine gifted me this knowledge to share - is that every major spiritual and religious tradition maps back to that same Tree. Because every spiritual and religious tradition is trying to accomplish the same goal - helping us navigate the chaos of being a soul living in human form.
What I realized (or perhaps, what I was given) is that when looked at this way, the Tree of Life becomes a clear map for spiritual growth. Strip away all the packaging - the doctrine, dogma, patriarchal power-grab BS, and you’re left with guideposts. They tell you where you are and how to move forward.
All those things you’ve tried so far? They’re valuable, too! They’re tools. The right tools at the right time help you move forward. The right tools at the wrong time? Not so much. Ditto on the wrong tools at the right time.
And the right tools? That’s based 100% on YOU - you’re wiring, your way of BEing. Your way of experiencing the world.
What I was missing - and you’re still missing, is the map. Once I had the map, everything changed. It’s how I continue to find Divine support and feel connected no matter what life throws at me. I'm a Kabbalist, Certified Shamanic Practitioner, and scholar who has done something unprecedented: I've mapped over 40 spiritual and religious traditions onto the Tree of Life framework, demonstrating that all traditions describe the same developmental process for souls navigating human existence.
